re-cap

This weekend was packed full like normal. I was happy that I was able to sleep in almost 1 1/2 hours on both Saturday and Sunday. I usually get up about 5:50 during the week and was able to sleep in until around 7:30 both days. Yeah! Friday night we picked up the house and decided to get our Christmas decorations down from the attic so we could sort through what we wanted and also so we could have it all ready to go when the girls took their naps on Saturday. Saturday morning Chad worked on the outside of the house. He mowed and edged one more time, pulled out all of the plants that were dying, and then spent time winterizing the tractor, blower, edger, and weed eater and packing it all away. Reagan and Reilly came over around noon. We ate lunch and then the girls played. R & R watched this that we had bought last week while my girls were napping. Chad and I started putting up one of our trees. We decided to get our decorations out this weekend because we aren't having Thanksgiving at our house this year, and we have to do it when the girls are sleeping. Plus, I want to enjoy it as long as we can. The Christmas season seems to pass so fast. So we got our tree set up and couldn't find any of our lights. We think we must've thrown them away last year thinking we would buy a pre-lit this year, but thought we would use ours another year. So Saturday night we had to run out and buy more lights. Got our main tree up and decorated along with the one in the basement and little ones in both of the girls' rooms. We have all of our decorations inside the house up, but still need to get our outside lights up. The girls are loving it. When we got Presley up from her nap the first time we had our decorations out we walked downstairs and she said, "It's Christmastime."

Sunday Presley was invited over to Aunt Hildy's for a Fall Fun party. So we dropped her off after naps and ran some errands then met back up and had pizza. She had two Thanksgiving pictures she colored, made an Indian headband and made turkey cookies. Thanks Hil! I know she had lots of fun. (I'm not sure why you didn't want Addison to come. ;) Just kidding.) Sadly, I don't have any pictures from their party because I wasn't invited. :)
