Reese isn't much into sitting still and watching the game. The older 2 are pretty entertained....especially when food is involved. But this game we met our cousins and A.Hildy. I think that made the game a bit more fun for all!
Daddy's team was either leading or close through-out most of the game, but lost it in the last few minutes even with all his personal cheerleaders yelling. :(
We still decided to celebrate and met up for a little play time and lunch.

They had a fire safety presentation, got to see a fireman all dressed up in his gear and finally check out the fire trucks. 
Then I got to take Presley on her fire station field trip with her pre-school friends. (more on that later)
After the field trip I went back to school where my friends had gotten me cupcakes from the most yummiest bakery ever. 
After work I went to pick up the girls and found that they had made me a cake with help from Mawmaw. 
They were so excited to show me. They greeted me with the cake and a song. 
They did it almost all by themselves and were very proud. Reese even helped.

Happy Valentine's Day!
We started off the day by going to church.
Then lunch with Mawmaw, Pawpaw, A.Cindy, U.Ben, Tyler & Gabi at one of our favorite ulta-cheap extra yummy Mexican places.

Then it was a quick run to Target to get supplies for dessert. 
And finally home to enjoy some homemade milkshakes. Seriously one of the best valentine's day ever! Spending the day with my 4 valentines. :)

We also were dealing with some yucky colds a few weeks ago. It was actually soon after we got back from our MLK get-away. It started with Reese. She got a little temp early Tuesday that quickly went away with a little Tylenol. Later that night the temp came back so we gave her more Tylenol. When I went to check on her before I went to bed, I noticed that she was shaking. At first I got really nervous thinking it was a seizure. I picked her up and could tell she wasn't doing well. Chad and I brought her downstairs and decided to take her in to the ER just to be cautious. We gave her another dose of Tylenol while we waited for Cindy to come over and stay with Presley and Addy (who were sleeping). On the way to the ER she had stopped shaking. They checked her out and did a chest x-ray on her. Her temp at the hospital was 102 and that was after the 2 doses of Tylenol we had given her. So they gave her Motrin and it went down a bit to 101.7. Dr. came in and told us it looked like a virus to him. He told us it was good to bring her in to be safe with her background of seizures. The next day she seemed a bit better but Addy started with the temps and while sitting at dinner actually started shaking. She said, "Momma, I can't stop wiggling." And then I think Presley got a bit of it the next day. Chad and I took turns staying home with all 3 girls the rest of the week and were both able to somehow avoid the bug. 
Chad ended up taking Reese back to the Dr. on Friday because she just wasn't kicking it and they ended up giving her an anti-biotic to help her get over it. And thankfully now they all are much better. They still have a bit of the cough, but Dr.'s said the cough could last up to 3 weeks. We are thankful that it was just a cold because it seems there is so much worse going around. So now here we are coming up on Valentine's Day. The girls were working hard on their cards tonight. 
I took them last week to pick out their cards and Presley really wanted these Hello Kitty cards, but tonight as we started writing her name on them she got frustrated with not being able to write her whole name on the cards. Luckily I had picked some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cards out for my class at school that had LOTS more room for her name, so all is well. 
Tomorrow Presley has a field trip to look forward to with A.Hildy and her pre-school friends to the fire station and Addison and Reese have their daycare party. 
As for me (and Chad), I have weigh-in Wednesday for the Biggest Loser competition that we are doing at school that I'm not looking forward to...the Superbowl was this weekend, I think we should have a grace period weigh-in. 
I'm looking forward to a long weekend and hoping to relax a bit and hang out with my favorite girls.
I see some Barbie time and sledding in our future.
