first game

Chad had his first boys basketball game tonight at home. I decided to take Presley out on a "date" and go watch his game. She was really excited and kept asking me when it was time to go see Daddy play basketball. I knew Addison would be all over the place and would NOT want to sit still and watch. She would want to be down there playing with the ball herself, plus I knew we would be out past her bedtime. So, I asked Aunt Hildy to come and hang out with Addy while Presley and I went. We had a great time. Presley did so good. She just sat right next to me on the bleachers and yelled for Daddy. She didn't like the buzzers so much. At half time we went and got a "special snack". I asked her if she like the popcorn and she said, "Yes, it's squeaky." Then we also got some of these and I asked her if she knew what they were and she said, "yeah, those are special M&M's." I don't think she's ever had them. She just kept looking up at me and smiling. I loved spending time with just her. At first she was a little concerned about leaving Addison at home with Hildy. The whole way to the game in the car she kept saying, "But Addison wants to come with me." I was thinking it's probably about the first time she has been in the car without Addison (since Addison was born.) We usually go everywhere together.

Chad's team ended up losing, but only by 4. The team he lost to is usually the best team in the league, so hopefully they will have an ok season. His team defiantly could've/should've won. Too many missed free throws and not rebounding the ball. But, for the first game, to stick as close as they did and only end up losing by 4, I think that's pretty good.

(I took our small camera into the game, and don't like the way the coloring on the pictures turned out at all. Not sure if it's the camera, the lighting, or a combination of both.)

Yea Chad! Good job - you'll have to get a schedule so we can visit a game. We like to watch him coach. As for the quality of pictures...I think its the lighting in the gym...I can never get good quality pictures of wrestling because they are in the gym and it is terrible lighting.
