Weekend Update

Wow, is it ever busy. It's not just the end of the school year that has me (us) so busy, it's everything else too. This weekend was no exception. We had my parents stay with us this weekend. Saturday we had Reagan and Reilly's 4th birthday party. So fun. Sunday we worked in the nursery. Presley went to the next class. She didn't cry once. We walked in to her class, I signed her in and she took off running to the baby doll in the high chair. Chad and I peeked on her a couple of times and she was just sitting on one of the workers laps listening to a story about Joseph. When we picked her up she had a cute little Joseph puppet that had lots of coats. I asked her if she sang any songs and she said, "Yep, Twinkle, Twinkle." ;) Addison started sitting up on her own from laying down during the nursery. She has been close and had done it a few random times, but now can do it on a regular basis. She also is getting to be a pro at crawling on all fours backwards AND forwards now. After church the girls had naps and after naps we headed up to see Chad's sisters family at Yogi Bear. It was a short trip, but Presley was excited to see Yogi. We had a good dinner, took a walk, played with bubbles and then came home. Monday we had my family over for a cook-out. Chad and my Dad worked on the trailer and went to Camping World to get some supplies. Chad picked up these cute chairs for the girls. They should come in handy for our first camping trip this weekend. We made reservations for this weekend and are looking forward to a quick get-away. We are celebrating Chad's birthday (31 on June 3rd) and the end of the school year. Friday is our last day of school. Lots to do before we are done. In fact tomorrow we both have Field Day at our schools. I am on the Field Day committee at my school and had to help fill over 600 water balloons today!!! The kids should have fun. Got to see Kathy's twins after school today. So cute, wobbling back and forth. I love when they are just learning how to walk. Adorable. We were supposed to attempt to get the girls pictures taken tonight (by my sister, Jenny)but my kids were cranky! I think it was the heat. So, will have to re-schedule sometime. Thankfully we didn't have to pay a sitting fee for a no-show. ;) Here's to finishing this week. I am looking forward to it being over... Although next week I start a Science class at Saint Mary's.....not sure that will be much fun either.
