bcc

This past Thursday we made the trip up to the "thumb of Michigan" to meet the rest of my family at Brown City Camp. I think I have made it to this camp almost every year since I have been born. I love seeing so many aunts, uncles and cousins there. This year was no exception. We started off with donuts for breakfast... Presley wasn't ready for pictures yet...
but Reese was!
Papa and Nana took us to a little playground.
Reese especially loved the rocks.
Then we went back to the campground just in time for the kids fun fair. First up was a wagon ride. Here's Presley with her new glasses. (She has had them for a couple of weeks but doesn't like to wear them. She says she can't see with them on. I'm not sure she needs them. We go back in a couple of days to discuss with Dr. When she went for her initial appointment I would've thought she was blind...she was VERY shy with the Dr. and wouldn't tell him hardly any of the pictures...)
These are the 2 Bonachelli's according to Addison who took us on our wagon ride. Next up was face painting.
Presley chose a butterfly (pink & purple). No surprise that Addison picked the same exact one. :)
Then it was time for snow cones and cotton candy with cousins Reagan and Reilly.
Next up was the jump house with even more cousins. Then it was off to the big inflatable slide.
This is cousin Reilly....she jumped so high this is all I could get of her... ha!
From there it was off to the obstacle course.

Presley vs. Addison

After the fun fair we went with family (I think I heard there were over 40 of us) out to one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Nana and Reese watched the parade outside to pass the time. I was especially excited to see Great Grandma D! (I wish I would've gotten a picture with her.)
We tried to get a picture of the grandkids with Nana and Papa, but unfortunately Addison and Reese were not in the picture-taking mood. :(
After pictures we headed back home. Over 5 hours it took us. The kids napped a total of 1/2 hour and were super little travelers. I thought for sure they would sleep most of the way, but I was wrong. They were so good and got along great. I'm pretty sure Reese's teeth were bothering her (hence her not happy with pictures) but on the way home, she was content to chew on her toes pretty much the whole ride back!
I'm not kidding....
Almost the whole trip, this is how she was.
The only time the toes came out of her mouth was when she was doing her best to look cool in her shades.
I'd say she looked pretty cool, wouldn't you? We had a great time. Wish we could've stayed longer, but happy that we got to see as much as we did and visit with all the family we did in that time.
