After I pick the girls up from daycare, we usually talk all the way home about our days. When I picked them up on Tuesday the following conversation took place between Presley and I that I had to share -
P - "Konner is sick."
Me - "That's too bad. What is wrong with him?"
P - "He has the flute." (flu)
Me - "Really? The flute?"
P - "Yeah, the flute means you have a throat....a throat with a temperature. AND when you have the flute with a throat with a temperature, that means that you have to go to the dentist to make it better." {smile}
She's got the right idea... :)
And then that evening during dinner somehow the girls got started talking about boys and girls. Presley started telling Addison who was a boy and who was a girl. Queenie walked by and Presley told Addison that Queenie was a girl.....then she went on to name all of our family members and tell if they were a boy or girl. - She got to U. Matt and said -
P - "U. Matt is a boy....Hey, does U. Matt wrestle?"
Me - "No, I don't think he ever wrestled." (She's pretty random at this age...I think she went from Trenton to U. Matt.)
P - "I'm shy with U. Matt. Shy means you do this (she proceeds to tilt her head to the side and smile really big.)
Stinker.

Aww. She's so cute. I need to squeeze her. I haven't seen her in awhile.
You can tell her that UMatt tries to wrestle AJenny, but he really doesn't have much of a chance. Right AHildy? You've seen the matches.
Kids say the funniest things when they are little. I remember Lissa asked me once if the world used to be blank and white, I said no why, she said because all the pictures of you when you were little were black and white. I explained to her that it was just the film. Boy did I get a chuckle out of that one!! Enjoy it while it last, as I'm finding out it ends all to quickly.
