4 weeks

Can't believe it's been 4 weeks - a month - since our little monkey joined our family. Time is FLYING by. She is such a good baby. All of my girls have been pretty easy for the most part, and it just seems to keep getting better. Reese is such a great sleeper. Sleeps most of the day and most of the night too. She wakes up once at the most two times during the night to eat. I feed her (about 10 minutes) and lay her back down and she's out. I don't have to rock her, give her a binky, nothing. Just lay her down and she's asleep. She does have a little cold/cough now so some nights it's not quite as easy to get her down, but then once she's asleep she goes good stretches. She will have at least one long stretch of around 4 hours, sometimes up to 6. I have been getting enough sleep that I honestly don't feel like I have a newborn. I can remember feeling SO exhausted with the other girls with having to get up at night, but Reese has been not bad at all. I am more exhausted by Addison wearing me out than Reese. ;)
Here she is at one week: And here she is at week 4: It's kind of weird to look at these pictures because when I look at Reese today she still looks like that skinny little newborn, but looking at these pictures I see a little bit of "chunk" on her legs. I love chunk (on newborns that is.) ;)
I took Reese into school the other day to meet my students and Chad's and show her off to our friends. Upon meeting my boss, she proceeded to give him some big smiles that were accompanied with some very strong smells then right after that there was some loud "business" going on. If that's not a way to embarrass a mom, I don't know what is. Good thing he has kids that were once little, so hopefully he understands. It's just kind of hard to have a conversation when all that "work" is going on.

Wow! Reece is already changing so much! You're right about her legs chunking up. She's adorable! Hard to believe it's been a month already...

So glad I got to see her today again. Reese is changing so much already. All three of your girls are cuties!! Ben normally doesn't comment on who babies look like because he says they look like "babies" but today after leaving your house he said, "wow, I can't believe how much Reese looks like your brother."
