Presley's pre-school graduation was this past Monday. The theme was "Down on the Farm". It was adorable. Presley had quite the "studience" (studio audience) there to support her. Thanks all family for coming to support her.
She sang with 2 of her friends, Grace & Shea.
Sang a solo and also stepped up to the plate and sang a surprise duet with another little boy for a girl who was having a hard time. So happy to go to school AND daycare with friend, Shea.
I am so proud of her and who she is becoming. I'm just glad it was nice and dark in the program so no one could see me crying. The songs, kiddos, pictures....enough to get me every time.
To help us cool off during these warm days Presley decided to spend some of her birthday money and treat us all to a slip and slide. We got it out the other day during Reese's nap. To say it was a big hit might be an understatement.
Fun, fun times.
And good drinks too.
And we woke Reese up a bit early from her nap so she could have some fun too.
I see lots and lots of our summer days spent on the slip and slide.
Can't believe my first baby girl is 5. I hear everyone always say how fast time goes, just to enjoy these years.... but I really just can't believe it. Time is just flying by. In the fall I will have a kindergartner on my hands... wow. Presley went ahead and turned 5 on me. She is getting so big. She is such a big helper/little mommy/good, sweet girl. I always wonder how I got so lucky with Presley. She is so good almost all the time. She loves to help me out and is such a good big sister to Addy and Reese.
Presley just finished up her 2nd year of pre-school and has learned so much. I'm so glad she had the chance to go and learn. She has made many good friends and has become much more confident. I'm sad that this time is ending, but so excited for her future. Love you Pres!
Chad and I both took our last personal day to take Presley (and Addison) to her pre-school picnic. I was worried that the rain would postpone our trip, but thankfully it held off until this afternoon. The girls had a great time running around and going on a hike.
I am happily married to my husband, Chad since July 2003. We are both teachers in the same school corporation and at the same elementary schools. He teaches 5th grade and I teach kindergarten. I am a proud mommy to THREE adorable little girls, Presley, Addison and Reese. We have a miniature pinscher named Queenie and 3 goldfish named Dorothy, Mr. Fish and Boppy.
