1st game

This morning Presley had her t-ball pictures followed by her 1st real game. It was so much fun to watch. Every batter bats every inning, they don't keep score, and don't get "outs". That makes everything so much fun. Plus, they are moved around in the field each inning so they get to play lots of different positions. Presley did a great job in the field today. She stopped almost every ball that came her way and knew where to throw. We still need to work on that throw a bit, but it is getting better.

Her batting is getting much better as well. You can see here, her hits don't always go that far (her ball is behind her), but it's all about the fun.
She is somewhat confused after she gets on the bases where and when she should run. We'll have to work on that too.
Rounding 1st...
Almost to 2nd...
Dance party on 3rd... Sounds about right. :)

Addy enjoyed the concession stand while cheering for her big sister. For Presley it's all about having fun...for Addy, it's all about the food. :)
Run, baby, run!
If you look closely, you'll notice - tongue out!
Almost there.
Look she's #1!
Run!
Always willing to smile for the camera.
The cheering section!

gymnastic party

Presley was able to help a friend from pre-school celebrate her birthday tonight. It was at a local gymnastic place. It was so much fun. All the girls had the best time. Presley asked several times if she could have her birthday party here. We will have to keep this in mind.
They were able to use lots of the equipment in the gym.By far, Presley's favorites were the trampolines and
the slide into the marshmallow pit.

Here she is with the birthday girl, Grace.

singing at church

This morning we went to church where Presley goes to pre-school. The 2 pre-school classes were singing to the congregation as a thank-you for allowing the pre-school to use their church building. The kids did a great job. It's always so fun seeing Presley with her friends.

practice

Presley has had a couple of t-ball practices so far. I've seen lots of improvement. And she's having fun, which is what is all about at this age. Saturday she has practice and immediately following practice she had a practice game against another team.
It was pretty chilly Saturday morning, but the kids did pretty good.We still have some more work to do on her batting, but she had several good hits.

During the game, she was playing at the pitchers spot. She said after her last practice, "Mom, I learned a new word - 'baseball ready'." Here she is showing us her 'baseball ready'.
She tried very hard to stop all balls today...even if they weren't near her. She took off running every time the ball was hit. The first practice she wouldn't move unless the ball came directly to her, now she's running all over. Just need to get her somewhere in the middle of those two.
Presley's fan club - Reese (Addy was there too), A. Hildy, Mawmaw & Pawpaw.
She's got 1 more practice before opening weekend. Can't wait.

day 3, 4 & 5

warning - picture overload!

Day 3 - Can you believe I forgot my camera? I know. I asked Chad to turn around, but I think he was secretly happy I didn't have my camera along. ;) So no turning back for us. Just use your imagination to picture a very cold and mostly rainy sometimes hail-ey, almost snowy at times day. We decided to drive to one of our favorite burger places about 45 minutes away. It's right by Lake Michigan, so of course we stopped by to look at the lake for a bit before we ate. It was unfortunately too cold to stay long. Oh well, the burgers more than made up for the long drive. LOVE.THAT.PLACE.

Day 4 - Again, no camera. We actually dropped the kids off to play at Mawmaw's today to so Chad and I could get a little running around done. The girls have been missing their friends so it was nice for them to play a bit with someone other than their sisters or mom and dad. Chad and I enjoyed a nice lunch while getting lots of errands ran.

Day 5 - BUSY. Today we crammed lots of fun outings into our day. We kept it all a surprise from the girls. Just told them we were going on lots of adventures. We started off at the mall. The 2 older girls have seen this bungee jump thing several times before, but we've never let them jump. Today was there day. So much fun. I thought for sure Addy would squeal the whole time, but I think she didn't know quite what to think. She liked it, but was also scared at the same time. Presley really got into it, jumping on her own to go even higher.
Addy was pretty much stiffed legged the whole time. ;)
That's the look - I'm having fun, but I'm a little nervous.
After jumping we went to look at the puppies at the pet store and then made a quick stop at the Disney store.
After the mall it was on to our next adventure - Chuck E. Cheese. Reese actually won a $50 gift certificate to here not this past Halloween, but the one before that one. So a year and a half ago.
The girls had lots of fun and it wasn't too crazy for Chad and I to handle either. ;)
I think a favorite ride for all 3 was this Kentucky Derby horse.
I think the tongue out must help. Both Presley and Addy had it out.

Maybe it's just my girls' thing - tongue out. I caught Reese with her tongue out driving her good buddy, Chuck around.
Daddy won lots of tickets on the skeeball.

After we had spent all our tokens (and still have $13 on the gift card) we turned in our tickets. 2 bags of pink cotton candy, 2 pop rocks candies and 3 tops please. 2 bites now, save the rest for later.
Next up, drop off Reese for a nap at Mawmaw's and on to our next adventure - Go Karts!
Each girl was big enough to ride the junior karts by themselves. Presley was actually pretty good. Much better than I would've guessed. Addy had a little trouble, especially with the turns. Thankfully there was a super nice high school worker guy that hopped on the side of her car to help her out.

After the girls rode by themselves, Chad and I took them on the adult track with us. Presley rode with Chad and Addison with me. Addison squealed the entire time. And Chad said Presley was giggling the whole ride. Love these moments.
From go-karts on to happy hour at Sonic to share a chocolate milkshake 4 ways, shopping at the dollar store for birthday party favors and then on to pick up a well-rested little sister. Home for burgers on the grill, a little playing outside and then top it off with a wii tournament and Dairy Queen. Wow. Seriously we loaded this day. I know we created memories today. They crashed as soon as we put them to bed tonight. I think that means we can call today a success! That and whenever you have ice cream twice in 1 day, definitely means success in my book. ;)
