bowling

Presley and Addison were invited to their friend, Shea's bowling birthday party. They had a great time. Bowling, pizza, more bowling, cupcakes, and presents. Who wouldn't have a good time?
Addison was the winner on her lane! Way to go Addy!
My 2 girls with the birthday girl. Happy Birthday, Shea!

start?

Any ideas where I should start? It's been awhile since I've posted anything. Life is busy, and is about to get even busier with the holidays quickly approaching. We've had a great fall. We had several chances to go and cheer on cousin Tyler and his football team (along with cousin Mike who helps coach Tyler). So the girls got to sit with cousin, Briella (her daddy is Mike). I think their cheering helped get the team farther than they have gone in quite a few years. They had a great season full of exciting wins and upsets!
We've been enjoying the late Indian summer weather as well. We've had lots of chances to get outside to play before the cold weather hits us.

The 2 older girls got to go with their friend, Shea to get their nails painted for Shea's birthday. SOOOO much fun. Addy chose pink.
And Presley chose whatever Shea chose. ;)

Can't you just feel the excitement on Addy's face?

fall fun

After a LONG day of parent/teacher conferences on Thursday we enjoyed a lovely 3 day weekend. Friday morning we got up and headed out for IHOP for breakfast. Then it was off to run some errands. The girls quite often will end up like this. Isn't it sweet?
You'll have to excuse the fuzziness of the pictures. They are from my phone. I meant to grab my camera, but forgot. After a few errands, we dropped Reese off at Mawmaw's for a nap and took the 2 oldest to the movies. It was Addison's first time at a real theatre. She had been to a couple of short ones in Disney, but this was her full-length movie experience. I had warned her that it might be a little loud and she was fine with that...she just wasn't sure she wanted them to turn the lights off. :)
We took the girls to see Up. It was a cute movie with several cute parts and cute characters. Not their favorite, but a good one overall. And even better with some popcorn.

trick or treat

We started out Halloween with a few pictures at home. I had originally wanted to have all 3 dress alike and be the 3 little pigs. I waited a bit too long to order the costumes because I was trying to convince the 2 oldest. Finally once I convinced them, when I went to order the costumes, they only had Reese's size left. :( Oh well, then I got to be the mom who let my kids choose their own costumes. Presley chose Rosetta (Tinkerbell's fairy friend) and Addison chose Snow White. And I still got 1 little piggy.
After a few pictures at home, we headed over to Mawmaw and Pawpaw's.
Rosetta (Presley) was given a Rosetta by Mawmaw and Pawpaw.
Addison got a fairy too!
After a quick stop at Lowe's we went back home to do some trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. Chad stayed home and cooked up a pizza while A.Hildy and I took the girls.
The girls had a hard time keeping up with Reese. She was ready to GO! After the first house, Presley said, "I didn't know they were selling candy tonight."
After visiting a couple of houses we went back home for some yummy pizza and festive dessert thanks to A.Hildy. What a fun day!
