trip

Can you tell she was excited about her field trip today? This is where we went.
With friend, Maddie.
And good buddy, Grace.
She could hardly wait for her turn.

Team #1 - Grace, Maddie, Presley, and Jadyn.
Presley had lots of fun and did pretty good as well. In fact, I think she was in the lead until the very end when Grace pulled out a spare. :) I just LOVE to see her play and interact with her friends and classmates. After bowling we picked up Addy (while Reese was sleeping at Mawmaw's) and headed to meet her friends from pre-school and their moms at McDonald's for lunch and the playplace. Addy was so excited to play with "her" pre-school friends. What a fun day.

frogs

I surely have taught my 3 girls to share so well. I should be so proud...but this time I wish they wouldn't share. They have been sharing these yucky colds/coughs. So we took Addy to the Dr. last week I mentioned with a temp. Dr. said to make sure the others didn't get the temp...Reese got the temp. And she also got the crankies. (By the way, is it wrong that this picture is just about my most favorite one ever?)
Just not herself. Chad left work early Monday and got her in to the Dr. Fortunately Dr. said she just had something viral. No need for antibiotics. He stayed home with her on Tuesday. Today everyone went to daycare/work, but as the day went on Presley's cough got worse. Now tomorrow is Presley's turn at the Dr. Her cough sounds awful. As I sit here typing, I can hear her in bed trying to stop coughing long enough to fall asleep. Poor girl. So after her field trip tomorrow, we are headed to the Dr.'s. Hopefully we can get rid of these "frogs" in our throat. Although, I do have to admit. I'm pretty partial to these particular "frogs". Well, at least one in particular.

And after Presley's appointment, I'm going to have them check me too. I'm not sure if it's in my head but my throat is a bit sore also. {Big sigh} Spring weather to stay can't come soon enough in my book!

And no, these pictures don't really go with this post, I realize that. Just saw that I didn't post these from our photoshoot a few weeks ago.

how?

can this happy girl... have bronchitis? It appears that even Addison is stumped as to how this happened.
And she's not too happy about it.

Actually, she's doing great...lopsided piggy tails and all.
She has had a cough for a few days now (thanks to Daddy for sharing it with all 3 girls). She started getting a little temperature on Thursday night/Friday morning. We gave her Tylenol and it went up even higher so we decided to get her in Friday afternoon just in case it got worse over the weekend and sure enough...bronchitis. She sent us away with an antibiotic and told us to watch the other 2 girls to make sure that they didn't get the temperature. So far...just the coughs. Last night wasn't fun. They didn't sleep well, which meant I didn't sleep well. Seems to be a bit better today.

Hopefully we've turned a corner. Addy hasn't had a temp since yesterday morning.
We've had a busy week...something going every night. Plus, Parent/Teacher conferences were Thursday afternoon/evening. That makes for a Very Long Day!
I just love how great both Presley and Addison are with Reese. Presley asks me almost every day if we "can keep Reese?"
Presley and Addison have been getting along really well too. I suggested a kiss.
Presley though 1 kiss was enough...Addy wanted seconds. ;)

Mom B.

We need to wish Mom B./Mawmaw a very Happy Birthday today. We hope you had a wonderful day. We love you lots and are very lucky to have you in our lives. Thanks for all you do for us and for who you are. Thanks for letting us celebrate with you today. We love you!

birthday dinner

Mom and Dad D. made it down this weekend and were able to help me celebrate a late birthday by going out to dinner. Yum-oh. Dad tried to get a family picture, and look at Addy... :) Always on the move. This attempt wasn't much better.
Thankfully the other pictures were better. Addy with lots of smiles for Nana.
And Reese smiles for just about everything and anyone.
5 cousins. After dinner Mom and Dad D. and Hilary came back to our house for my favorite raspberry cream pie. In fact, I don't even like pie unless it's from there. Double yum. Thanks Mom and Dad for making the trip down here and for everyone else for helping me celebrate my birthday. It's not too bad stretching out my birthday for a month. ;)

trivia

Last night we went to trivia night at our church. So fun. We started off round 1 going 10 for 10 and that was the highlight of our night. ;) We weren't last, so that was good. I guess the important thing was we had lots of fun.

Jen and Matt were on our team (not sure why the picture is fuzzy).Mom and Dad tagged team holding Reese while the other one would play and then Hilary was on our team.Good times. Thanks all for a good time.

celebrating

So we are celebrating today. Not because Chad lost the first game in his tournament but because that loss means that he is DONE with coaching this year! Yippee! We are all so thrilled to have him around more often.
Today the girls helped Mawmaw celebrate her birthday at daycare a little early. (surprise) So last night we were talking about what we should get her for her birthday. I was asking Presley what her ideas were and she said, "Maybe we should get her a dress. A purple dress.....No, a WHITE dress. In case she wants to get married." :)
And yes, I realize that these pictures of Reese don't go with my post today, but I have lots to post, and honestly who doesn't want to look at this cutie everyday?

9 months

...or there about. :) Actually she was officially 10 months by the time we got around to getting them taken, but who really cares...especially after you see these beauties...
This little one is EVERYWHERE...getting into EVERYTHING. And quickly, too! She is such a good happy little peanut. Always has a smile on her face...especially when she sees her momma. She has been saying "dada" for a couple of weeks now, not really towards Chad, more just babbling. But just this weekend when I walked out of the room, she started crying for "mamamamama". Chad and I just looked at each other because we both heard it. Of course I had to test it out, so I walked out of her eye-sight again and sure enough "mamamama!" Yeah! She says mama and actually knows what it means! :)
More pictures to come...thanks to my sister.

tiny tim

How come she leaves in the morning looking like this?

And comes home looking like this.

Must be because she has so much fun during the day...

I've been begging her for the last few days for her to sing her song she learned at pre-school and daycare, and she finally agreed to give it a go today...

In case you can't tell...

"I found a little turtle. His name is Tiny Tim. I put him in the bathtub, to teach him how to swim. He drank up all the water. He ate up all the soap. And now he's at the doctor's with a bubble in his throat."

pretties

I painted my nails the other night when the girls were sleeping and ever since they got up the next morning, they have been begging me to give them "pretties". So tonight after baths, we got the job done. Love how Addy sat waiting for her nails to dry. :) And Yes, we are still rockin' the Christmas p.j.'s.
Poor Addy has been fighting a cold that is making it's home in her eyes. :( It's not been fun. Presley had the runny eyes last weekend, but nothing like Addison has. Poor thing has been having the yucky green stuff constantly in her eyes. She wakes up in the morning and her eyes are matted shut. You can see how red they are getting from constantly wiping them out with a warm cloth. We're hoping we have rounded a corner and soon will be over this junk. Can't wait for spring to be here. Loved seeing the sun all weekend, although it was a bit of a tease that got me thinking that spring was here...that is until I stepped outside. brrr.
